Legacy Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a Full-Time Admissions Supervisor to provide client-centered clinical mental health services to children and families who meet the criteria for services.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, with minimum of 2 years of experience in Medicaid Services and Child Welfare.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) NECESSARY.

PROCESSING DUTIES: 

  • Provides direct clinical mental health services to children and families who meet the criteria for Therapeutic Behavioral On-Site (TBOS), Individual/Family Therapy and group services;
  • Services are provided in office and/or on-site;
  • Provides Initial Intake Assessment;
  • Develops Prior Authorization requests for services when required by Medicaid/HMO;
  • Develops treatment planning and reviewing;
  • Monitors progress towards goals, re-assesses needs and upgrades treatment planning;
  • Develops progress summaries as required by contractual agreement with funding sources;
  • Seeks clinical consultation;
  • Documents clinical sessions following Medicaid-HMO and other contractual agreements;
  • Completes forms required by the program (progress notes, discharge summaries, attendance forms, and any other program-specific documents);
  • Submits to the Lead Site Consultant documentation and fee for services (billing) on Mondays. The documentation must cover the prior week of services;
  • Attends monthly team meetings and other meetings scheduled by the Lead Site Consultant;
  • Follows Prior Authorization instructions for number of sessions, frequency, and allowed length of services;
  • Follows HIPAA confidentiality requirements;
  • Follows data security requirements;
  • Follows abuse reporting procedures;
  • Follows Agency policies and procedures;
  • Fulfills in-service training requirements per Medicaid Community Behavioral Health Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook and/or other contracts;
  • Carries a cell-phone for availability to clients, office staff and other contacts in the community.
